SUMMARY:CASA 2nd Annual Fishing Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Join us on May 7\, 2022 from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Grove Marina at Laurel Lake in Corbin\, Kentucky. There is a $100 entry fee for a 2-person boat. Online registration is available below. \nThe following cash prizes will be awarded: \n\nFirst Place | $500\nSecond Place | $300\nThird Place | $250\nFourth Place | $200\nFifth Place | $150\nSixth Place | $100\n\nThere will be a separate pot for biggest Large Mouth Bass and biggest Small Mouth Bass for $5 each\, total prize amount will be based on the number of entries. \nAll proceeds will go to support CASA of Clay\, Knox & Laurel Counties – directly impacting abused and neglected children in these areas. Your boat and motor must conform to BIA horsepower rating.\n2. All boats must be equipped with a Coast Guard approved kill switch. \n3. Choose your partner or fish alone.\n4. Winners will be determined by Tournament Officials based on fish weight per boat.\n5. No more than Z contestants per boat. NO EXCEPTIONS. \n6. Golden Rule will be the official board use. \n7. Only large mouth and spotted bass measuring 15 inches or larger and small mouth bass measuring 18 inches or longer will be weighed in. NO EXCEPTIONS. \n8. Fishing with artificial bait only is authorized. There will be no trolling. \n9. Contestants must check in at Grove Marina between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM on the day of the tournament. \n10. No dead fish will be weighed in.\n11. There be a 1 lb. penalty for short fish.\n12. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs allowed. \n13. Five (5) fish limit per boat.\n14. Late penalty 1 lb. per minute. Disqualified after 15 minutes late.\n15. Live wells will be checked by members of the Tournament Committee prior to the start of the tournament. \n16. No fishing within 50 yards of another competitor's boat which was first anchored. \n17. Areas closed to fishing boats: Marina's within NO WAKE buoy line and Goose Management areas at Cane Branch.\n18. No entry will be accepted from any person or persons that have been disqualified from any fishing tournament for any reason.\n19. Please be aware you will need a parking pass for this event.\n20. Decisions of the Tournament Committee are FINAL.\n21. Each contestant is required to wear a fastened US Coast Guard approved personal flotation device anytime the combustion engine is in operation. \n22. All protesting must be done with the Tournament Committee prior to weigh-in.\n23. All boats stay behind buoys until blast off. Do not leave until your number is called. \n24. No underwater cameras will be allowed. \n\n\nDisclaimer & Liability Waiver\nIn consideration of your acceptance of this entry\, I hereby for myself\, my heirs\, executors and ad­ministrator\, release and forever discharge CASA of Clay\, Knox & Laurel Counties\, their agents\, servants\, or person from any claim for damages resulting in injury to my self or to my equipment during this event.
